The parliamentary majority, refractory to social policies which include the allocation of significant resources from the state to the lower classes, found the fraudulent way to mock more than 54 million Brazilians who voted for Dilma Rousseff, with the clear purpose of steering Brazil to the agenda of transnational financial capital.
To the shame of the new government that is taking over in Brazil, any observer will notice that those who promoted the impeachment and accusation against Dilma Rousseff, appealing to accusations that don’t even constitute offenses under criminal law, are involved in major corruption scandals and even authors of the same conducts they are mentioning.
The Brazilian people will know how to tilt the balance back in their favor when time has come. We are sure that it will do so and we express our solidarity in these difficult moments. The processes of liberation and redemption of the people do not follow straight lines, the class struggle is what it is, hard and difficult, but the goals of independence and justice will never be defeated.
Our embrace to Dilma Rousseff and her legitimate government, to Luis Ignacio da Silva, to the Workers Party, to the whole people’s and democratic movement in Brazil, its political and social organizations, indigenous and black communities, to the women who, with Dilma, for the first time came to the presidency. You will overcome, no one can seize your victory.
