To the relatives, the people and the government of the Republic of France and to its president Emmanuel Macron, we extend our deepest condolences for the death of Julie Huynh, victim of the terrorist attack executed by forces that oppose to the construction of the peace in Colombia, that occurred the 17 of June of 2017, in the Andino Shopping Mall, in the north of Bogota.
It is not fair for such bad fortune to occur to a citizen whose government has always been a friend of the political solution to the Colombian conflict. We reiterate once again our decision to honor the commitments established in the Final Peace Agreement, signed in Havana, Cuba, on November 24, 2016.
This type of terrorist actions cannot intimidate our people, nor prevent Colombians from reaching peace with social justice, as the national majorities yearn for.
