Havana, Cuba - The Peace Delegation of the FARC-EP, represented by Comandante Iv?n M?rquez, who read a poem dedicated to the late Comandante Alfonso Cano before reading today's communiqu?, made an appeal to the National Government to use common sense in order to meet the stipulations of the General Agreement and the rest of the agreements, but also what logic and natural reason teach us is necessary to move this peace process forward, as a gateway to reconciliation of Colombian society.

FARC-EP tells Congressmen it doesn?t agree with legislative act
?The best mechanism of countersignature is a Constituent Assembly?
Havana, Cuba - During a meeting of several hours with a delegation of Colombian congressmen, the FARC-EP expressed its rejection of mechanisms such as the Legislative Act currently presented in the Senate, insisting that "the mechanism of countersignature that we should adopt at the peace talks is that of the Constituent Assembly or the combination Referendum-Constituent Assembly".
Regarding an article published in The Guardian, called "Colombia peace deal with Farc is hailed as new model for ending conflicts" written by Ed Vulliamy, I would like to make a few clarifications.

This morning, head of the Peace Delegation Iv?n M?rquez read a declaration with some reflections about the Special Jurisdiction for Peace. According to the spokesman, the agreement has been welcomed by several organizations and prominent personalities like the UN, the E.U., Luigi Ferrajoli (respected Italian jurist), the USA, Celac, Unasur, the International Criminal Court and many others.
